Jimmy's Motor Spares was established over 30 years ago as a small family business and forms part of the Jimmy’s franchise group (includes Jimmy’s Service Station and Jimmy’s Gas Centre).

Since its inception, Jimmy's Motor Spares has become one of the Western Cape's leading automotive specialists. The company has developed and expanded considerably over the years.

The business credo of Jimmy's Motor Spares has always been to maintain strong community-based relationships aimed at providing superior quality service at competitive prices while creating customer loyalty.

Nature of Business

Jimmy’s Motor Spares was established 30 years ago as a small family business and forms part of the Jimmy’s franchise group (which includes Jimmy’s Service Station and Jimmy’s Gas Centre).

Jimmy’s Motor Spares is engaged in the procurement and then retail selling of all types of automotive components. Currently, all products are sourced from local SA-based automotive vendors and sold to the broader public (including very large local mechanical industry).

In addition to the above, Jimmy’s Motor Spares is also engaged in a “small scale” repackaging operation which uses oil-based “finished products” and decants into smaller quantities for retail consumption under the Jimmy’s house-brand (i.e. TECHNO engine cleaner and lubricants).
